Preparing your manifesto
- Manifestos should be emailed to Jane Fisher-Hunt (fjf24@cam.ac.uk) no later than 12 noon on Tuesday 20 November 2012. They will be uploaded to the SSJC webpage for students to read before the ballot opens on Tuesday 27 November at 10am.
- Your manifesto must not exceed 250 words. If you wish to include a digital photo, you may.
- If you're stuck for ideas on what to write in your manifesto, consider including reasons why you are standing, what you would do if you were elected (any bright ideas) and why people should vote for you.
- Your manifesto cannot recommend that people vote for you plus another candidate - you cannot run as a pair.
- Your manifesto cannot contain any language that may be conceived as offensive, racist or homophobic.
- Your manifesto must be about you and must not contain any reference to another student or member of staff.
