Organisation and Personnel

 

The New Greek Lexicon Project is housed in offices within the newly refurbished Faculty of Classics. Through Professor James Diggle the team reports to a Management Committee chaired by Professor Richard Hunter, the Regius Professor of Greek: the Management Committee is responsible for financial planning, the relationship with Cambridge University Press, and broad strategic issues. The Management Committee reports regularly to the Faculty Board of Classics, which takes overall responsibility for the progress of the project.

Professor Richard Hunter

Work on the preparation of the digital files of the Lexicon is due to be completed in the summer of 2014. The Management Committee is currently seeking funding of the order of £600,000 to see the project through to a successful conclusion.
