Thursdays at 5.15pm, usually in Room G.21, Faculty of Classics.
The sessions, consisting of a 30-40 minute presentation followed by discussion, will feature invited speakers from both outside and within Cambridge, and are intended to be of interest to a wide audience, including graduates in other Faculties, and Classics undergraduates (especially those interested in interdisciplinary or Reception topics at postgraduate level).

Thurs. 10th May – Dr. Matthew Hiscock (Course Director 2011-12 for the MA in Classical Reception at UCL): Plautus, Rotrou, Molière: Amphitryon and the violence of reception.
Thurs. 24th May – Luke Richardson (UCL): ‘On est toujours libre aux dépens de quelqu’un’: Providing an Algerian context to Albert Camus’ Caligula.
Thurs. 14th June – Prof. Toph Marshall (University of British Columbia): Homer and The Infinite Horizon.
