University and College Teaching Staff

At present the Faculty includes approximately 32 Teaching Officers (Professors, Readers, University Lecturers, and Language Teaching Officers) whose primary teaching responsibilities are university lectures and classes and graduate supervision. Most hold College Fellowships and many of them are Directors of Studies.

In addition, there are College Teaching Officers in Classics. Their primary teaching responsibility is undergraduate college teaching although many also give university lectures and supervise graduate students. Two of the College Fellows currently hold posts jointly funded by the University and College.
