Eddy Eccles. Blood and Guts (and severed heads), identifying death in Lucan's Bellum Civile, and, Claire Stocks, Reconstructing Dido: Carthaginian perspectives of Rome in Virgil’s Aeneid and Silius Italicus’ Punica

Fridays at 5.15pm in Room 1.11

All graduates are warmly invited to attend the Graduate Interdisciplinary Seminar series, which will be running on Friday evenings throughout the Lent Term.  There will be two twenty-minute papers presented each week by people working in the different classical disciplines; general discussion will follow the papers.  The seminars provide an ideal forum for discussing new ideas and developing presentation skills in a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment. The seminars are always followed by drinks at the Granta and dinner, to which everyone is welcome.
