The Faculty of Classics in the University of Cambridge will be celebrating Michael Reeve’s 70th birthday with the conference The Editing and Interpretation of Latin Literature, which will run from 8–10 January 2013.  The conference is organized by Richard Hunter (rlh10@cam.ac.uk) and Stephen Oakley (spo23@cam.ac.uk).

Speakers: Alessandro Barchiesi, Dominic Berry, David Butterfield, Gian Biagio Conte, Marcus Deufert, William Fitzgerald, Monica Gale, Emma Gee, Stephen Heyworth, Luke Houghton, Matthew Leigh, Simon Malloch, Llewelyn Morgan, Stephen Oakley, Richard Tarrant, and Gareth Williams.  A full programme is available here

The conference is open to all who wish to attend; there will be a registration fee of £25.00, which will cover administration, tea and coffee, and the opening reception.  Those who wish to attend should notify the organisers by e-mail, and cheques, made payable to the University of Cambridge, must be sent to ‘Reeve conference’, c/o Professor S. As students will already be returning at that time, accommodation in the University is limited, but the organisers will offer what assistance they can; please contact Stephen Oakley for accommodation enquiries.
