Geoffrey Lloyd wins Dan David Prize

Professor Sir Geoffrey Lloyd is awarded 1m dollars for his contributions to the History of Science
The Faculty is delighted by the news that Sir Geoffrey Lloyd, an emeritus professor of ancient philosophy and science, and now a senior researcher at the Needham Research Institute, has been awarded one of the 2013 Dan David Prizes, 'for his work on the subject of Greek science as a major field in the history of classical philosophy'.
