A new Radio 3 series
BBC Radio 3: The Essay
BBC Radio 3’s new 12 week series The Essay: Greek and Latin Voices offers listeners an accessible modern guide to some of the foundation texts of Western culture. You can listen again, and hear some familiar voices, for the Radio 3 webpage here. There is also an accompanying page on the Open University website here.
There is also an essay by Mary Beard on the series, and more generally on Classics on BBC radio, on the Timesonline site. Find it here.
