Nineteen sixth form students from Greenhead College in Huddersfield
have just emerged from an intensive two-day introduction to Classics.
A team of the Faculty's lecturers, research fellows and graduate
students headed north to teach sessions on a broad cross section of
Greek and Roman culture from art and archaeology and love poetry to
ancient Greek language. Day two saw us visit Chatsworth House in
Derbyshire to put this new knowledge into practice.
