Anthony Snodgrass awarded honorary doctorate

Professor Anthony Snodgrass has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Chicago.
Professor Anthony Snodgrass, Emeritus Laurence Professor of Classical Archaeology, has been awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters by the University of Chicago, at a convocation held on Friday, 12 June 2009. The citation emphasizes the role he has played in transforming the field of classical archaeology over the past four decades.
