Mnamon has information, pictures, and links relating to ancient writing systems of the Mediterranean, including Linear B.

The Dartmouth Aegean Prehistoric Archaeology site offers a series of ‘lessons’ on the archaeology of the prehistoric Aegean, with images and bibliography. Lessons 19-28 deal with the Mycenaean period.

Archival collections

The Cambridge Linear B Research Archive (CaLiBRA) contains the Mycenaean Epigraphy Group’s collection of photographs of Linear B tablets from Pylos.

The Institute of Classical Studies holds an archive of Michael Ventris’ papers; the catalogue is available online.

The Program in Aegean Scripts and Prehistory (University of Texas at Austin) has extensive archival collections of material relating to Michael Ventris, Alice Kober, and Emmett L. Bennett.

Kober’s and Ventris’ correspondence is available online.

The Ashmolean Museum’s Sir Arthur Evans archive has information on Evans and the Ashmolean’s Aegean collections, digitised archival material, and the museum’s digitised collection of Linear B tablets from Knossos.

Aegean font download – this font includes all ancient Aegean and Cypriot scripts.

DAMOS: Database of Mycenaean at Oslo is a database of all published Linear B texts, in transcription.

Dicconario Micénico is the website for the Mycenaean Dictionary (in Spanish; currently indices only).

Liber is a database providing text, photographs, and information about the Linear B tablets from Mycenae, Tiryns, and Midea (more sites are to be added in future).

Nestor is a bibliography of Aegean studies, Homeric society, Indo-European linguistics and related fields.

Studies in Mycenaean Inscriptions and Dialect (SMID) is a bibliography of Mycenaean studies, with indices.

John Younger’s Linear A website offers Linear A texts (in transcription) and related resources.
