AHGBI & Spanish Embassy Thesis Prize 2018-19

The Faculty is delighted to report that Dr Maya Feile Tomes has been awarded the 2018-19 AHGBI (Association of Hispanists of Great Britain and Ireland) & Spanish Embassy Thesis Prize.
The award was made for her thesis, “Neo-Latin America: the poetics of the “New World” in early modern epic. Studies in Jose Manuel Peramas's De lnvento Novo Orbe lnductoque Illuc Christi Sacrificio (Faenza, 1777)”.
