Epigraphic Saturdays

Starting at 10.30 (coffee) for 11.00 am the morning will be devoted to discussion of some problem texts for the on-line corpus of the inscriptions of Cyrenaica (in the Epigraphy / Palaeography room of the Faculty Library). The afternoon will be devoted to shorter presentations.

A day of lectures and shorter presentations in Room G.21 of the Classics Faculty Building, Sidgwick Avenue, Cambridge, starting (with coffee) at 10.00 am. (Lunch will be available in Newnham College opposite). 

The main speaker will be Dr Manfred Schmidt from Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences who will give a paper on ‘The goblets from Vicarello (CIL XI 3281–3284: their date and purpose’.
