Oxford and Cambridge Classics Open Day

The Oxford and Cambridge Classics Open Day is taking place as a hybrid event.

The 2024 Oxbridge Classics Open Day is hosted by Cambridge. It is a chance to find out more about Classics in general, but also the specific degree programmes at Oxford and Cambridge in particular.

Both individuals and school groups are welcome. In person and Online Tickets are available

A booking link and more details for 2024's event are available here.

Oxford & Cambridge Student Conferences

Each year the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford organise a series of joint conferences for Year 12 (or equivalent) students* and their teachers/HE advisers. The Conferences are normally held in March/April in locations across the UK and are designed to provide up-to-date information on courses available, the application and admissions procedure and student life at both Universities. Admissions Tutors, academic staff and current undergraduate students will be on hand to answer any questions.

College Open Days

Most of the colleges also hold their own open days, information about which can be found here and on individual colleges' websites. If you have specific questions about a particular college, it is a good idea to email the relevant Director of Studies.

School Visits

The Faculty is very keen to organise visits by academics to schools, both to give talks on classical themes and to explain more about the Classics course. Please email access@classics.cam.ac.uk to find out more. Our schools work is currently under review.
