Requesting a Group Visit

Please note: museum-led in-person visits are available Tues-Fri, 10am-2pm.

To request a group booking, please complete the form below. Groups should be booked at least one week in advance. 

Groups are limited to a maximum of two per day and only one group can use the Cast Gallery at a time.

As far as possible, please provide an institutional phone number. We use this number only to stay in touch about your booking.

 

Details of Visit

Please note: the Museum is closed on Mondays.
Our size limits are: 35 students for primary school visits; 25 students for secondary school visits or other tours; 20 students for art visits. We can only accommodate one group at a time.
Leaders must provide active supervision during the visit. We recommend ratios of 1 adult : 7 students for primary school visits, and 1 adult : 10 students for secondary school visits.
Please include details of any participants who would require alternative access via the lift. Please anonymise information as far as possible.

The Museum of Classical Archaeology uses your personal information to deliver the education service you have requested, to keep in touch with you about your booking and to improve our service. We use anonymised data only for reporting our visitor statistics to the Arts Council and others. We do not share your personal data with any third parties and we do not add you to our mailing lists. We destroy the record of your personal information one calendar year after the date of your visit has passed.

Our lift is currently out of order which means we are not able to provide step-free access at present.

Tues-Fri: 10am-5pm
Sat (univ. term-time only): 10am-1pm
Sun and Monday: Closed

Closed on Bank Holidays

 

Saturday Opening

Please note: We are open on Saturdays only during University of Cambridge term time.

We are currently open on Saturdays until Saturday 8 June, inclusive.
