Aphrodite goes to Greenwich

3rd November 2016

Last month we sent our cast of the Frejus Aphrodite on a journey to the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, where she can be seen as part of their fantastic temporary exhibition Emma Hamilton: Seduction and Celebrity. The exhibition runs from 3rd November 2016 to 17 April 2017.

The Minimus Project is back

1st October 2016

The start of a new academic year means the return of the Minimus Project, in which we send out keen student volunteers from the Faculty of Classics to lead after school Latin clubs in local Cambridge primary schools, using the textbook Minimus.

Minimus the mouse (mus = Latin for mouse, and minimus = Latin for very small - geddit?) lives with a Roman soldier and his family at Vindolanda on Hadrian's Wall. You can find out more on the Minimus website. Rumour has it he's been spotted visiting the Museum...

Sat: 10am-1pm (Univ. term-time only)
Sun: Closed

Closed on Bank Holidays

We are currently open on Saturdays.

Lent Term Saturday Openings begin on Saturday 21st January and end on Saturday 11th March 2017.
