Frieze of men fighting

This is a Summer With the Museums event

Put on your armour and drop in to find out how the ancient Greeks fought for their city-state. Find out more about how the ancient Greeks fought for their city-state and join us for a relaxed afternoon of arts and crafts. You can even make and decorate your very own Greek shield to take home with you.

Summer Temperatures

Our glass-roofed gallery can get very warm in the summer months. We recommend bringing water if the weather is forecast to be warm and sunny.
