Research Enquiries
Do you want to know more about our objects? Anyone, including academic researchers and members of the public, can contact us to find out more about objects in our collection, items in our archives, or the history of our Museum.
Research enquiries can be directed to our Curator, Dr Susanne Turner:

Please note that we can only answer enquiries about objects held in our collection.
Valuations and Identifications
We regret that we are unable to offer a valuation or identification service. Some larger museums, such as the British Museum (pdf), offer an identification service by appointment in individual departments. However, please note that museums are bound by a strict Code of Ethics and you may be required to demonstrate appropriate collection history until at least 1970 and appropriate export documentation.
