Our Archives

The Museum of Classical Archaeology is home to several collections of archival material, ranging from lantern slides and turn-of-the-century photographic collections to archaeological notebooks and site plans. Our archives are an important resource for research, learning and general interest, but they are not usually on display to the public.

The archives can be consulted by appointment only, subject to availability. If you would like to arrange a visit to examine material from the archives, please contact our Curator to discuss your needs and book an appointment at least one week in advance:

We regret that it is not currently possible to book a research visit, but we hope to reintroduce this service soon. Please bear with us as we navigate the current uncertainty.
