A relaxed morning opening especially for children with sensory sensitivities along with their families, siblings and carers.

Join us for a relaxed morning aimed at children with sensory sensitivities along with their families, siblings and carers. We will be opening the Museum especially for children who need a quieter environment at a time when we would normally be closed.

Come and discover a world of Greek heroes and Roman emperors among our sculptures.

There are limited spaces to keep the Museum from feeling too overwhelming and a ‘chill’ out space will be available if a time out is needed. We will turn off any sounds and will control the lighting as best we can.

This event is free to attend but booking is required. Please book places for any family members that will be attending, too. Prior to the event you’ll be sent out a visual story for the Museum.

Please book online here.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Museum.
