The Cambridge Centre for Greek Studies  is delighted to launch a new scheme for scholars wishing to visit Cambridge for periods of up to three months. The fellowships will be known as Lewis-Gibson Visiting Fellowships, after Agnes Lewis and Margaret Gibson, two pioneering scholars of ancient languages who endowed a fund for the furtherance of Greek Studies.

Scholars engaged in the study of Greek or Greek-related topics of any era (including antiquity) are eligible to apply, providing that they are least five years postdoctoral. It is hoped that this will enable a diverse range of researchers from over the world to visit Cambridge and share their ideas in a rich, multidisciplinary format, while also benefiting from the University’s library resources and opportunities for collaboration.

Further information can be found on the Centre website.
