Research
My research involves the study and analysis of Roman material culture, with special emphasis on commonware pottery. I have taken part in several fieldwork projects in Italy (Liguria, Tuscany, Marche and Lazio) and France (Corsica), in collaboration with the University of Pisa, the Archaeological Superintendency for Lazio (SABAP-LAZIO) and the German Archaeological Intitute (DAI). I am the finds supervisor for the Faculty's fieldwork project at the Roman town of Interamna Lirenas.
