Title of Thesis (preliminary): Plato's City of Gods


A native New Yorker, Solveig studied Classics at Princeton before coming to Cambridge for her MPhil and now her PhD. Her thesis looks at the theological foundation of Plato’s political theory in the late dialogues, and she is interested, more broadly, in unpacking the myths, metaphors, and murk of the Platonic corpus.
