Faculty of Classics

Due to popular demand, British Museum illustrator Craig Williams will host a second session for you to try your hand at archaeological drawing. This workshop will not only focus on helping you put into practice some of the techniques and skills used by professional archaeological illustrators - using sherds and objects from the Museum of Classical Archaeology's collection - but will also consider what role drawing artefacts plays in archaeological investigation and publication.

PLEASE NOTE: Numbers for this event are limited, so we ask that you only book a ticket if you have a definite intention of attending.

In conjunction with the exhibition Talking to the Gods: Votive plaques from Roman Britain.
