In this illustrated talk, artist Markos Kampanis, whose work is on view at the Museum of Classical Archaeology, discusses how he uses the tree as a motif to explore histories of art - and how, by repainting representations of trees from art and not life, historical periods and cultures are linked in unexpected ways through the artist's vision.
