The Editing and Interpretation of Latin Literature

The Faculty of Classics in the University of Cambridge will be celebrating Michael Reeve’s 70th birthday with the conference The Editing and Interpretation of Latin Literature

The conference is organized by Richard Hunter (rlh10@cam.ac.uk) and Stephen Oakley (spo23@cam.ac.uk).

The conference is open to all who wish to attend; there will be a registration fee of £25.00, which will cover administration, tea and coffee, and the opening reception. As students will already be returning at that time, accommodation in the University is limited, but the organisers will offer what assistance they can; please contact Stephen Oakley for accommodation enquiries.

Roger Dawe

It is with sadness that we report the death of Roger Dawe, former University Lecturer in Classics and Fellow of Trinity since 1963. Roger was a memorable lecturer and a scholar of strong, often unorthodox, opinions, who made major contributions to the study of the text and transmission of the tragedies of Aeschylus and Sophocles.

The Corbett Lecture 2019: Rescheduled to Saturday 22nd February
