The Classics Society invites you to an afternoon of weaving and fibre crafts in the Cast Gallery.
With Athena as the patron goddess of weaving, try your hand at weaving a mini tapestry, or bring your own knitting, crochet or sewing to continue working on. Whether you need step-by-step teaching or simply a community for craft and discussion, join us and make like Penelope, discussing myths and the classical world while trying your hand at fibre crafts.

- The Cast Gallery is on the first floor.
- Step-free access to the Museum is available via our lift. To use the lift, please ask at the reception on the ground floor of the Classics Faculty.
- This event involves standing, but we can move chairs around the gallery. Please let us know either when you book tickets or on arrival if you would like us to do so.
