Cambridge Greek Play, as she tells you about the plays chosen, the international creative team, and the concept developing. This is your opportunity to get to know the project, and ask any questions. If you would like to perform, casting auditions will be happening in the last week of term, c.24-27 November. No knowledge of Ancient Greek is required. This is also your opportunity to get involved in other ways. We are looking for Assistant Producer(s), Assistant Director(s), a DSM and ASMs (Deputy Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager) from within the university community to join our professional team. Given the musical and choral language of this project and the director's grounding in opera, we are also looking for an Assistant Musical Director and Repetiteur(s). greekplay2025@gmail.com About the DirectorDirector Rosalind Parker is an alumna of Cambridge, previous choral scholar of Clare, CUOS president, and Greek Play Assistant to Annie Castledine on Medea.She has continued creative research and directing (opera and ensemble physical) ever since. Current projects include with Neil Bartlett, Complicite, Gecko, and directing a new production for Britten Pears Arts as Creative Director of her company SizewellCreative, as well as bringing her NYC work from La MaMa to the Arcola.Current Research includes CRASSH Beyond the Trigger; occupying and addressing states of psychopathology in the theatre, Cambridge Tragedy with Birmingham Psychopathology, and An Acoustically led approach to Dramaturgy and Scenography in the Routledge Companion to Sound of Space (2025). The Museum does not have a car park for members of the public to use; car parking onsite is unfortunately reserved for members of the University only. However, metred parking is available on Sidgwick Avenue.
The nearest car parks are Lammas Land or Grand Arcade.
