Faculty of Classics

This is a Summer With the Museums event

What was it like to be in the Roman army? Or live in a Roman city? What were the Roman fashion trends? Join us for an afternoon full of activities, crafts and dressing up to learn about life in the Roman empire and even meet a real Roman soldier!

Summer Temperatures

Our glass-roofed gallery can get very warm in the summer months. We recommend bringing water if the weather is forecast to be warm and sunny.
