The Faculty invites potential applicants to the Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship scheme (internal review deadline 31/10/25), with a particular interest in hosting researchers working within areas relevant to our research clusters: 

  • Greek and Latin Literature
  • Greek and Roman Philosophy 
  • Ancient History
  • Classical Art and Archaeology
  • Classical and Comparative Philology and Linguistics
  • Interdisciplinary Classical Studies and Classical Reception

You can find out more about the Faculty’s research here, and you will find a list of staff here. Potential applicants should in the first instance contact an academic in the Faculty who works in their area of research to discuss their application and establish their support.
