Faculty of Classics

The Museum of Classical Archaeology invites applications for a Collections Engagement Intern. This is a paid opportunity.

Length of Internship

2.5 days per week for 12 weeks. The deadline for applications is 9am on Monday 7 June 2021.

Purpose of Internship

The intern will help us to clean and transfer the data we hold on our sherds, and also add to that information through research. Using this content, they will research and design an online tour or trail based around some of the objects they have been working with. In addition, most of MOCA's small team help to staff the front desk and engage with visitors, and therefore there would also be an opportunity to develop public-facing visitor services skills.

Who can apply?

Applications are welcomed from those with recent graduate or postgraduate qualifications in Classics, Ancient History or Classical Studies, or a related subject like Archaeology or Art History.
