Codebreakers and Groundbreakers

In collaboration with the Fitzwilliam Museum, we pick up the theme of their new interdisciplinary exhibition on codebreaking here at the home of cutting-edge classical research. Discover the story of pioneering Cambridge archaeologist Alan Wace, whose archival records are on display for the very first time. Find out how researchers at the Faculty of Classics continue to break new ground in our understanding of ancient languages.

Featuring displays from the CREWS Project, the Greek in Italy Project, the Greek Lexicon Project, and the Mycenaean Epigraphy Group.
